Marine Hazards

Marine hazards are generally classified under 4 main categories. These are tsunamis, storm surges, biological (Toxic Algal Blooms, Invasive Species and etc.) and other coastal hazards. DERINSU provides site and literature studies from all available sources (Turkish State Meteorological Service, General Command of Mapping, General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works, Ministry of Environment and Forestry and etc.) to figure out environmental hazards in near shore and offshore areas, whether natural or artificial.
