DERINSU use SCOUT USBL system for the exact positioning of any object, area. The system is be used for exact positioning of any debris, obstacle, geomorphologic structure, habitat under the water. System can be mounted on ROV, Side Scan Sonar Tow Fish and diver and connect to existing surface positioning system DGPS&RTK system


Derinsu have full capabilities of side scan sonar data acquisition and processing systems for target detection, debris clearance and geotechnical interpretation of the survey area to create the geomorphological structure of the survey area.13
C-Max Side Scan Sonar system is used for collecting side scan sonar data.
The CM2 family of EDF dual frequency towfish is used for data acquisition. 325 kHz HF mode is used to search for to distinguish such objects as mooring ropes, anchor chain, anchors, scour marks, pilings, crab pots, rocks, as well as differences in seabed texture. 780 kHz HF mode is only capable of short ranges but gives the most detailed images. EF is, for example, useful for positively identifying an object first located in HF.

For the data processing Chesapeake Technology Sonar Processing software SonarWiz.MAP is used. Using software package all required corrections such as layback,slant range, scale distortion, gain control is applied data to prepare high resolution and top quality sonar mosaics.

Bottom Tracking manual and automatic modes.

Comprehensive signal processing and gain control including Beam Angle Correction, Destriping, Non-linear per-channel TVG, AGC, layback.

On-screen feature digitizing and attribution.

Target capture and reporting in HTML and MS-Word formats.

On-screen tools simplify difficult tasks such as adjusting survey lines.

Output mosaics to GeoTiff (TIF/TFW), the Web and Google Earth

Output digitized features and reports to ESRI shapefiles, AutoCAD DXF,Fledermaus and simple ASCII files.
