Buoy Installation for Nature Conservation

Buoy Installation for Nature Conservation on Ancient Lycian Coasts

Project Overview

The Lycian Coast Buoy Installation Project aims to establish a buoy system for diving boats so as to avoid harmful anchoring to sea bottom where biological diversity is outstandingly rich. Our customer WWF Turkey leads numerous nature conservation projects in Turkey.

Technical Background

Within the scope of this project, DERINSU has installed the buoys by anchoring them on sea bottom by means of a pneumatic driving system, which is designed and produced by DERINSU engineering team. Below pictures taken during implementation of the project.
